Trauma and Identity Work

Restoring mind/body connection.

When lives are impacted by traumatic events, the body shows up to do its best to protect you and keep you moving. As a trauma-informed clinician, I incorporate the entirety of your life’s story to outline a pathway toward transformative healing; the pain points as well as your innate strengths. This work can include reconnecting the mind and body; creating space for the parts of us that hold the pain associated with a traumatic event(s) to be empathically witnessed. I honor the parts of you that inhabit protector roles and work with them and you to find new ways of being that align with your therapeutic goals.
