Paying for Therapy
I believe that therapy must be as accessible as possible within the provider’s financial capacity and availability. This belief grounds my efforts to address the inequity that exists when people attempt to access quality mental health care. Therefore, I have structured my private practice as outlined below, offering varying session rates across separate categories: Low-Cost, Reduced, Full Fee, and Solidarity.
In order to determine your financial capacity, please follow the below steps.
Utilizing the Green Bottle resource (see below), determine which financial capacity tier applies to you.
Once you identify your tier, reference the Rate Tier Key (see below) to determine which rate applies to you: Low-Cost, Reduced, Full Fee, or Solidarity.
Once you’ve determined which tier applies to you, please reach out to me with a rate in mind. We can discuss availability from there. I maintain a certain number of slots per tier and keep them open until all slots are filled. In the event that I do not currently have availability that matches your needs, I am committed to supporting you in finding a provider that more closely aligns with your needs.
Please note that Low-Cost and Reduced rates are guaranteed for 6 months. After 6 months, we will collectively discuss any changes to your current financial capacity to ensure session fee alignment.

Solidarity - $225+
If you are currently experiencing financial abundance, your support at this tier subsidizes the cost of low-cost and reduced rate sessions. Your generosity also supports my continued education and organizing efforts as a social worker and psychotherapist; allowing me to attend conferences, co-found the Men of Color in Social Work Summit, and attend trainings by BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clinicians. Overall, your support helps me provide a higher quality of care to everyone - including you.
