About Me

Hi there :)

In our sessions, I prioritize your unique needs and desires. We will move with intention and at a pace and in a direction that feels comfortable for you. My approach is trauma-informed, relationship-based, and grounded in intersectional feminist theory - centering anti-racist and anti-oppressive perspectives. Using an integrative approach with individuals, couples, and groups, I often incorporate narrative therapy, relational therapy, and emotionally focused techniques. I shift away from passivity and towards being direct and collaborative; aiming to partner with you in working towards the goals we set together.

I often work with adult clients that are moving through and processing experiences of early childhood and familial relational trauma, shame, and homophobia/homo-intolerance. While I continue to work with people of varied backgrounds, I have a special connection with creative individuals. With 7+ years of previous experience in the music industry and arts administration, I understand the pressures of being a creative person within a capitalist structure. Whether you're a visual or performance artist, songwriter, photographer, storyteller or another type of creative, we can explore the specific stressors and anxieties you face.

My aim is to create a welcoming, brave, and collaborative space where you can explore your vulnerability and curiosity, and unpack the deeply ingrained narratives that shape how we navigate the world.

Outside of my therapy work, I enjoy chatting about social justice movements and Black identity, resting on sunny park days with my dog, and indulging in far too many baked goods.

A Quick FAQ

  • I am currently out-of-network with all insurance providers. I’ve made the decision to not work directly with insurance providers in order to offer you confidential and personalized care. Insurance companies can often place restrictions on session length, frequency, and even treatment approaches. By transitioning out-of-network, I have the freedom to focus solely on your unique needs. If you have questions about this approach, please feel welcomed to reach out to me or read more about this on my FAQ

  • My fee structure ranges from $50 - $250 and is based on a self-identifying financial capacity sliding scale. Please see my FEES page for more information.

    Payments Accepted:
ACH Bank Transfer, American Express, Cash (in-person), FSA/HSA, Mastercard, Visa, and Venmo.

While I do not accept insurance, I can provide you with a receipt (super bill) that you may be able to submit for out-of-network reimbursement depending on your insurance plan’s allowances. HERE is a resource that has more info on this process.

  • I am currently accepting clients for both virtual and in-person sessions. Please contact me to schedule a consultation!
